1. Information We Collect

Location Data

When you take a photo using ParkSnap Finder, the app may collect your precise location information (GPS coordinates) to tag your parking spot photos. This location data includes:

• Latitude and longitude coordinates
• Altitude (if available)
• Reverse geocoded address information (place name, city, state, country)

Photos

Photos you capture using the app are stored locally on your device. We do not access, transmit, or store your photos on external servers.

App Settings

Your app preferences (photo quality, deletion duration, notification settings, etc.) are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

• Location Tagging: To automatically tag your parking spot photos with GPS coordinates and address information
• App Functionality: To provide core features such as photo storage, gallery viewing, and expiration notifications
• User Preferences: To remember your settings and preferences within the app

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or any other purposes beyond the core functionality of the app.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Local Storage

All data collected by ParkSnap Finder is stored exclusively on your iOS device in the app's temporary directory. This includes:

• Photos you capture
• Location data associated with photos
• Photo metadata (capture date, expiration settings)

Automatic Deletion

Photos are automatically deleted based on your selected retention settings (1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 30 days, or never). When a photo is deleted, all associated location data and metadata are also permanently removed from your device.

No External Transmission

We do not transmit, upload, or sync your data to any external servers, cloud services, or third-party services. All data remains on your device at all times.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or disclose your information to any third parties. Your photos and location data are never transmitted outside of your device.

ParkSnap Finder requests the following permissions:

• Camera: Required to capture photos of your parking spot
• Location (When In Use): Required to tag photos with GPS coordinates and address information
• Photo Library: Declared but not actively used (may be used for future features)
• Notifications: Optional, used to notify you 30 minutes before photos are scheduled to expire

You can revoke these permissions at any time through iOS Settings → ParkSnap Finder. Note that revoking permissions may limit app functionality.

6. Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Delete Photos: You can delete individual photos or all photos at any time through the app
• Revoke Permissions: You can revoke location, camera, or notification permissions in iOS Settings
• Uninstall: Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all stored data from your device
• No Account Required: The app does not require account creation, so there is no account data to manage

7. Children's Privacy

ParkSnap Finder is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since all data is stored locally and no external transmission occurs, there are no additional privacy concerns for children using the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
